All employees around the world have the opportunity to take classes and courses to enhance their skills because the Global Campus uses the latest in interactive internet technology. It enables students to learn online with the help of a live tutor.

The Global Campus aims to provide a Strategic Process to improve performance through continuous lifelong learning. These courses are strategically aligned with the company’s business strategy. For example, employees' work is integrated with career and succession planning and performance management. Cross-platform learning is encouraged, so employees are not limited to classes that relate to their current roles.

The Global Campus curriculum includes more than 80 courses ranging from building world-class customer service and e-business skills to international etiquette and presentation skills. The courses are divided into several key areas. The foundation areas include the core curriculum and cross-functional curriculum, which can be applied across every aspect of the company. There are courses specific to APL, APL Logistics, Corporate functions and Chartering.
