Contract settlement reached in Southern California

ILWU Local 63, The Office Clerical Unit representing office clerks at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach reached agreement on a new three-year contract July 26 with an employer group of 17 marine terminal operators and ocean carriers.

The two-month-long negotiating process concluded successfully without disruption to port operations. APL’s Global Gateway South marine terminal at the Port of Los Angeles continues to operate normally.
