Consolidation of U.S. Freight/Cashiering Offices to a Centralized Location

Dear Valued Customer:
APL is consolidating its U.S. freight/cashiering offices to a centralized location. Please mail or courier your payments and/or documents to the following lockbox location from 30th March 2009:

Inbound - Inbound Bills of Lading and checks can be couriered or mailed to this location. It will accept payments and original Bills of Lading. In addition, it will scan and transmit applicable documents to our centralized cashiering office for payment posting. Please submit your payment and documentation in a timely manner to prevent potential cargo delays.
Outbound -All outbound bills of lading will be sent directly by our documentation department to customers who have signed up for Electronic Bill of Lading on homeport or via overnight courier service. Our freight cashiers will no longer release Bills of Lading. APL encourages all customers to register for an APL Homeport I.D and begin utilizing the Electronic Bill of Lading function.
For customers on non-credit terms, who utilize the Electronic Bill of Lading function, please send your payment to the location stated above prior to release of Bills of Lading. Upon receipt of payment, you will be able to access and print Bills of Lading online.
Demurrage payments can still be processed online at www.apl.com. If your preferred mode of payment is checks, you may use APL ACH (Automated Clearing House) or Wire transfer. This expedites freight payment and very often lowers processing costs. For more details on electronic payment, please contact us at email@example.com.
