Honduras Update

02 July 2009

Dear Valued Customer,

Trade flow is returning to normal in Honduras this week following protests over the arrest and exile June 27 of the nation’s president. The main port, Puerto Cortes, remains open and nearby highways are again passable. Borders with neighboring countries have reopened, as well. Containerized cargo is moving once more in and out of the country.

APL reports that its operations are also returning to normal. Our office in Honduras remains open for business. The vessel Agaman is expected to arrive on schedule in Honduras July 4. Cargo operations will move forward as planned.

However, as a precaution against resumed protests and street blockages, APL will suspend cargo pick-up during the weekend of July 4-5. Normal pick-up will resume July 6, 2009.

We will communicate with you again as conditions change. In the meantime, thanks for your patience during this period of uncertainty.

For additional information regarding this matter, please contact your APL Account Manager or Customer Support via phone at 1-800-999-7733 or via email at nam_customer_support@apl.com .

Yours Sincerely,
