International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code Amendment 34 – New Marine Pollutant Mark
19 November 2009
Dear Valued Customer,
The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) Amendment 34 becomes mandatory on January 1, 2010. APL has begun enforcing the new changes to ensure all cargo in our possession is fully compliant on January 1, 2010.
The new marine pollutant mark is a square on point with a dead fish and tree.

The old fish in the triangle will no longer be acceptable for international shipments with immediate effect. Please use the new square on point with a dead fish and tree marking immediately on international shipments.
As always, do not hesitate to contact your local customer service or APL representative, if you require further assistance.
Yours Sincerely,
|
