New Dominican Republic Customs Regulation on Inbound Bills of Lading
23 December 2009
Dear Valued Customer,
All vessels arriving at ports in Dominican Republic from 1 January 2010 must comply with the new Dominican Republic customs regulation which mandates that all inbound Bills of Lading must include the shipper’s, consignee’s and notify party’s tax ID or alternatively ID or passport number.
Any Bills of Lading not complying with this will result in penalties and delays to cargo delivery. As such, we would appreciate your strict observation of this new regulation.
Please don’t hesitate to contact your local customer service or APL representative, if you require further assistance or information.
Yours Sincerely,
|
