APL Balboa Delayed at Haifa, Israel

Dear Valued Customer,

We are writing to inform you that the vessel, APL Balboa, which is carrying your cargo, suffered a main engine breakdown on 19 August 2010, while enroute to Haifa. The vessel managed to berth Haifa and completed her discharging and loading operations on 20 August 2010 but she is unable to sail until essential repairs are completed.

Thankfully, your freight is safe. The repair engineers are doing their best to expedite the repairs and put the vessel back to service. Based on their recent advice, vessel is now expected to sail on 3 September 2010.

In the meantime, please accept APL’s sincere apologies for the inconvenience this matter has caused you.
