Boomerang Box Begins Yearlong World Voyage

Washington Public Ports Association, 4/98

The Boomerang Box, a 40-foot long cargo container, painted in vibrant colors with student’s artwork depicting Pacific Northwest trade, and sponsored in part by the Port of Seattle, has returned to Seattle. Designed to help students learn about international trade, the container has traveled by ship to six major Asian ports since October 1997. The expedition has been tracked on the World Wide Web.
