Jun 2003 - Three words define APL’s enhanced Transpacific services —
frequent, flexible and fast.
We’re confident our Transpacific services
will deliver what our customers want — particularly during the fast-approaching
peak season.
We know, for example, that our customers are increasingly looking to Asia and
China in particular to source and manufacture.
We are also aware that China is the world’s
fastest-growing market and global demand for its products shows no signs of
slowing. Our enhanced services reflect this market need.
Highlights:
- The redeployment
of a much-improved Pacific South (PSV) service
- The addition
of a new all-water string to the East Coast of the United States
- Extensive
upgrades of port rotations and tonnage on existing Transpacific services.
