Update 3 on India Regulatory Changes - Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations effective date postponed to 1 March 2019
Following our last advisory, we have received official notification from the India Ministry of Finance that the effective date of the Sea Cargo Manifest and Trans-shipment Regulations 2018 has been further postponed to 1 March 2019. As such, the existing Cut-offs will continue to be in effect until then.
Following the successful launch of Project LIFT across all APL services and platforms, we are pleased to share the key enhancements you will experience in tracking shipments going forward.
As a gentle reminder, from today, you will enjoy the LIFT experience when you ship with APL on all our services, starting with voyages that set sail on or after 12 November 2018.

Following the success of 11 selected services that first came under Project LIFT, please be informed that effective 15 October 2018, the same LIFT enhancements will be extended to all services, beginning with vessel voyages that set off on or after 12 November 2018.
