APL Opens Own Organisation in Portugal

APL has established its own organisation in Portugal and opened offices in Lisbon and Matosinhos

Lisbon: 06 March, 2006 – APL has established its own organisation in Portugal and opened offices in Lisbon and Matosinhos, near Oporto and the seaport of Leixoes. NOL Portugal - Transportes Marítimos, Lda has taken over responsibility for all APL's business activities in Portugal with effect from February 27, 2006, replacing previous agents MacAndrews Lda.

The company is headed by general manager James Caldwell, who was previously based in APL's European regional office in Uxbridge, UK.
