APL Appoints New Bangladesh Country Manager
Singapore, 13 Apr 2004 - Leading global container transportation company APL has appointed Waldo Basilla Managing Director of its Bangladesh operations.
Mr Basilla replaces Aziz Toha, who has taken up the role of Managing Director of APL's Pakistan business.
A 20-year veteran of the shipping industry, 14 of those with APL, Mr Basilla has held a variety of positions in operations, logistics and senior management. He was most recently Managing Director for APL Cambodia.
