Overview
Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a joint program between U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and global trade
stakeholders. The program is designed to strengthen global supply chains and U.S. border security. The goal is to achieve the highest level of cargo security through close cooperation between CBP and businesses related to U.S. import supply chain cargo handling and movement.

NOTE on C-TPAT Certificates - Originally issued certificates remain valid (i.e. they do not have an expiration date) as long as member remains in good standing within C-TPAT program.
C-TPAT Status Verification Interface (SVI)
Status Verification Interface (SVI) code allows C-TPAT members to find out if a supply chain partner is a member of C-TPAT or verify an existing member's current status. To learn how to use SVI go to the following CBP website:
