Secure Trade Partnership (STP)

Overview

As a key player in global supply chain security, Singapore Customs implemented an enhanced version to its Secure Trade Partnership (STP) program called STP Plus. STP Plus entails a set of security criteria that a company needs in order to obtain a higher level of certification.

The STP program was originally launched in 2007.  It is a voluntary certification program administered by Singapore Customs.  STP is consistent with the World Customs Organization SAFE Framework of Standards to secure and facilitate global trade.

APL was one of the first companies to receive certification in the STP program. Once again APL can proudly say that it is one of the first companies to now be STP-Plus Certified.
