Overview - Recent Update
The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) compliance date has been extended to April 15, 2009 and enrollment is in full process. APL will continue to provide current informatin on TWIC as much as possible. For updates and instructions please view all links below. The program's purpose is to ensure that individuals, needing unescorted access to secure areas of port facilities and vessels,
receive security
clearance by going through a background check.
