APL is committed to continually review our company's security procedures and protocol, ensuring we are responding to ever evolving regulatory requirements. We are committed to provide the trade community, through our Global Security resource web site, pertinent information, news and key links on Security and Industry Regulations. We also provide links to Security and Regulatory Organizations. Our web site is regularly updated so that our customers have access to the latest information.

APL's commitment also includes participating in various global security programs as an ocean carrier, terminal operator and third party logistics provider. These programs include:

• Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
• Singapore Customs' - Secure Trade Partnership (STP)
• European Union Authorised Economic Operator (EU AEO)

We continue to contribute to the development of workable solutions throughout the industry aimed at improving global supply chain security while minimizing the impact on the flow of trade.

Additionally, APL is a member of the World Shipping Council's Security Advisory Committee, the Retail Industry Leaders Association Supply Chain Security Committee, National Maritime Advisory Committee and the World Customs Organization's Private Sector Consultative Group. As a member of these groups, APL provides critical industry feedback to proposed government legislation and initiatives affecting the maritime transportation industry.
