Trans-Pacific Eastbound Market - Hazardous Surcharge

Please be informed that effective 3 August 2019, APL will apply a Hazardous Surcharge within the following service scope:

Origin: All Asia Origins
Destination: Canada and USA (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands)

Equipment Type Currency Hazardous Surcharge
Dry (Except ISO tanks) USD 350
ISO tank USD 150

The above rule is applicable to Trans-Pacific Eastbound dry cargo only.

Except as otherwise provided, a dangerous goods additional for hazardous surcharge shall apply to hazardous cargo (ocean) tariff or contract rates. All commodities designated, either specifically by name or qualified by reason of characteristics or properties as hazardous materials or dangerous goods shall be subject to the hazardous surcharge as shown.

All booking acceptance is subject to operation’s approval.
