Picketing results in closure of Global Gateway South, vessel delays
Please be informed that the Global Gateway South (GGS) terminal at the Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro, USA, has suspended all operations since 8.30am on 28 September (local time) as a result of picketing amidst on-going labor negotiations. The terminal will remain closed through 29 September, and the earliest operations could resume is 30 September pending the ongoing discussions.
As a result of the terminal closure, all appointments at GGS on 28 and 29 September have been cancelled.
